In the1930\'s, Joy by Jean Patou was considered one of themost expensive perfumes in the worlds. Itwas popular since the queens ofEngland wore it. Try thesefragrances if you enjoy smellinglike a rose.

World War II caused a decreasein new perfume creations,as well as a decline in thequality of perfume presentations. After the war, theperfume industry was re-established, and many new perfumersemerged. Christian Dior andNina Ricci both released works of art. "Miss Dior" by Christian Dior was presented in an elegant clearcrystal Baccarat bottle. Dior perfume bottle used a classiclook that was elegant andluxurious. Nina Ricci was known forfeminine and romantic creations. L\'Air du Tempswas released in 1948 and sold in a sunburstshaped bottle.

Perfumes once againbecame inspired by romancein the 1950\'s. Salvador Dalidesigned the bottle for "Monsieur Marquay" by Marquay. The perfume bottle featured an elegantman with a top hat andbow tie. The box was simple white with Dali\'smoustache and signature.

Christian Diorintroduced "Diorissimo"in 1956. The special edition bottle was designed by Baccarat. The crystalperfume bottle was in the form ofan amphora, and the stopperhad a magnificent flower bouquet in gilded bronze designed by Chrystiane Charles.

"Magie" was released by Lancome in 1950. Every Christmas a special edition was released.It was presentedin a Baccarat spherical bottle with stars,and a box covered in leather or satin.

In the 60\'s there was a wildand ostentatious mix array ofperfumes, Cabochard became very popular among women during thistime.
