Crane

Our crane is made of a winder (a wire rope drum), wire ropes (chains), and sheaves. It is a lifting machine which is used to lift or lower materials, and move goods horizontally.

Cranes have different uses in different industries. Normally, cranes are used to load or unload freight in transport industry, to move materials in construction industry, and to assemble heavy equipment in manufacturing industry.

Cranes in the market can be classified as mobile cranes and fixed cranes. Various truck-mounted cranes, rough terrain cranes, crawler cranes, railroad cranes, floating cranes, aerial cranes, tower cranes, loader cranes, jib cranes and other cranes can be available here. Their specific differences are specified as follows.

Rough terrain crane is a telescopic crane. It is a single-engine machine, similar to a crawler crane. The rough terrain crane has an undercarriage with four rubber tires. It uses its outriggers to level and stabilize itself while hoisting materials.

Railroad crane is used in railroads, designed with flanged wheels. It has many modes. The simplest one is a crane installed on a railroad car. Normally, railroad crane is used to do maintenance work, recovery operations, or load goods in goods yards.

Tower crane is a new-styled balance crane. It is fixed on a concrete slab, or attached to the sides of structures. Having good lifting capacity, it is widely used in the construction of buildings. Its base is attached to the mast to increase the height of the tower crane. Additionally, slewing units such as gear and motor are also installed on the mast to enable crane to rotate. There still have three parts installed on top of the mast, including long horizontal jib (working arm), shorter counter-jib, and the operators cab.

Loader crane, which also can be called knuckle-boom crane or articulating crane, is a hydraulically-powered crane. With articulated arms, it can load or unload vehicles easily. The loader crane is semi-automatic machine, and it can unload materials without the instruction of an operator.
